Purpose of this Collaborative
Do you want to practice public speaking, improve your communication, and build leadership skills? Research shows that people would rather die than speak in public.
We are a group of folks who have a passion for helping others manage and overcome this fear. With Toastmasters, you can break barriers, not your budget. Everything in Toastmasters revolves around the growth of our members.
Areas of Focus
Our mission is to provide a supportive and positive learning experience in which members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth. As a bonus, your Toastmasters experience provides you with opportunities to demonstrate your leadership skills, increase your aptitude for giving others feedback through the evaluation process, practice your impromptu speaking ability, and polish your meeting management expertise.
You can do all of this incrementally, two hours a month, with members who have been involved in coaching and mentoring Toastmasters for years.
Mindful Speakers Toastmasters meetings are on the first and third Tuesdays of the month from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the Wi2 Co-Lab, 21423 N 11th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85027.
If you have questions, please call Dr. Lori Wieters at 602-525-7900. We look forward to seeing you.
